NVIDIA Demos TAO AutoML and LoRA Vision Model Fine-Tuning
NVIDIAAI · x · 2026-07-15
NVIDIA shared a technical case study on traffic signal recognition, where the zero-shot Cosmos 3 Nano model initially missed visible signals. By applying LoRA post-training, the model correctly identified intersections, boosting validation accuracy from 54.41% to 87.14%. Combining this with NVIDIA TAO AutoML for automated hyperparameter tuning pushed accuracy to 93.35%, with the entire process completed in under a day.
