New Berkeley Professor to Research AI World Models

A researcher announced they will join UC Berkeley next year as an assistant professor in the Statistics department, affiliated with EECS.
Their research will center on developing methods to test and improve AI systems' implicit world models, making them better align with reality and human understanding of the world.
