Paperclip Turns Bio-Databases Into an Agentic File System

The author refactored biological databases and APIs that were originally not designed for AI agents, introducing Paperclip: a system that unifies common molecular databases (UniProt, PDB, ChEMBL) into an agent-native virtual file system.
The core goal is to empower agents to conduct deep retrieval and research in biological and molecular fields:
- Enables more accurate research across 10^6 scale molecules
- Claims a 10x speed improvement
- Integrates an index of millions of full-text papers
The project is currently free to use.
