Health AI Funding Increasingly Concentrates in Mega-Rounds

Funding in the healthcare AI sector continues to concentrate into massive rounds.
Data from the post shows that in H1 2026, 20 deals exceeding $100 million accounted for a staggering 45% of total funding. In 2024, similar large rounds only made up 22%. This means fewer than 8% of all deals captured nearly half of all VC money.
This indicates that capital in health AI is increasingly favoring a select few mega-projects, leading to a significant rise in funding concentration.
