In the first half of 2026, just 20 funding rounds exceeding $100 million accounted for 45% of the total funding in the field, a significant jump from only 22% in 2024. Overall, over 8% of deals captured nearly half of all venture capital funding, indicating that capital is rapidly accelerating toward top-tier projects.
