Cola has released a brand new desktop redesign, shifting from a traditional Chat format into an "immersive desktop AI companion." The company emphasizes that upon opening, users can create in a more atmospheric interface, or simply stay there, look at the scenery, and listen to the wind and birdsong.
Key updates include:
- Chat: Supports long-term memory and introduces a more convenient file delivery panel.
- Coding: Offers a more professional interface, supporting multi-project, multi-task parallel processing.
- Skill Center: Allows one-click installation of Skills like PPT, web pages, design, and video.
- Awareness: Upgraded from the previous "Mind Trace", adding a quote card generation feature.
Mechanically, there are two other important changes: switching models no longer clears the context, and the built-in models are slated for an upgrade, alongside a more cost-effective Token Plan currently in development.
