Google Launches 1-Hour Agent Course
Roger_M_Taylor · x · 2026-07-14
Google has released an approximately 72-minute agentic engineering course, aimed at building AI agents from scratch.
The curriculum includes:
- Building your first AI agent
- Adding short-term/persistent/long-term memory to agents
- Enabling agents to run autonomously in long loops
- Building a custom MCP, and comparing MCP with APIs
- Connecting multi-agent systems
The post also mentions that pairing this with their subsequent step-by-step articles makes it much easier to understand the agent loop mechanism.
