The author argues that AI, especially when combined with robotics, will bring unprecedented disruption unlike any previous technology. We are currently in a transition phase where AI primarily poses economic challenges, making economic stabilization and moderate regulation the top near-term priorities.
However, this is merely the "prologue". The author predicts that within 15 years (before 2040), AI will evolve into Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). This will transcend simple technological disruption, becoming a true technological singularity that economic perspectives can barely begin to explain.
