The Bottleneck of the AI Era Has Shifted

The author argues that AI is shifting the core difficulty of building products. Past obstacles were mostly technical: knowing how to code, finding resources, and having the time and skills to execute. Now, AI tools and agents have significantly lowered these barriers, enabling a single person to prototype faster, automate workflows, and test ideas.
The new bottleneck is no longer "can it be built?" but "should it be built, and what is the right thing to build?" The hardest parts remain understanding real problems, identifying target users, finding valuable use cases, and setting the right priorities. The author concludes that AI accelerates execution but doesn't provide direction automatically; the biggest risk isn't moving too slowly, but moving incredibly fast in the wrong direction.
