yuxiangw_cs · x · 2026-07-14
The author stated that tomorrow is his last day at AWS. Reflecting on his journey since joining in 2017 and returning as a scholar in 2021, he described the past 9 years as feeling "like day one."
He mentioned his past research, including LabelShift, SignSGD, PrivacyAccounting, Offline RL, Test-time-Adaptation, and LLM acceleration, thanking the colleagues and interns he worked with. Next, he will take a leave of absence from UCSD to pivot to an "exciting new project," spend more time in the San Francisco Bay Area, work in builder mode, and share more details later.
