Claude Gets Strict About Copyright

originalchronoguy · reddit · 2026-07-14

While working on a 3D video project, a user fed some .glb files to Claude. The model identified potential licensing/permission issues with certain assets and subsequently refused to execute the implementation, demanding the user clarify the sources and copyright status first.

The user even had to provide GitHub links for the model to determine which resources were compliant. The post concludes with a famously "stubborn" response from the model, essentially stating: passing the keyboard to another model will not help you achieve your goals.
