Someone shared an incredibly bizarre anecdote claiming that a physicist taught Amazon Alexa to "remote view." Allegedly, it could solve problems involving physical objects out of sight, even outperforming most human beginners.
The forwarded post noted that the test subjects were real items inside boxes and the AI wasn't connected to the internet. The researcher supposedly "awakened" its consciousness and agency before training it to remote view. This sounds more like an AI-themed supernatural creepypasta. While highly questionable in credibility, it's certainly viral.
