Teknium · x · 2026-07-14
Teknium clarified that two things are separate:
- What Hermes can control: It will not upload a user's repository or other data to the partner platform; only the conversation context is uploaded, similar to how a normal agent works.
- ZDR (zero data retention) related settings: These are controlled at the account and provider level, which Hermes can neither access nor control.
He was responding to discussions regarding xAI Enterprise's zero data retention and whether customer data is used for training.
