He Fears Society Can't Handle the Transition to Useful AI

Although relatively optimistic about AI alignment and existential risks, Sandberg is increasingly concerned that society may not smoothly withstand the transitional shock of AI that is "simply becoming useful."

His primary concern isn't superintelligence, but rather that rapid AI development could destabilize the social contract and our institutional fabric.
