Codex Misjudges Browser Login State

The author reported a UX issue with the latest Codex/ChatGPT app regarding browser authentication: if an app is already logged in within a Chrome tab, Codex struggles to recognize it and instead attempts to re-authenticate using its own browser.
They believe this is likely a bug, noting that ideally, the system should detect the user's existing Chrome login state and seamlessly reuse that authentication.
