Allen AI Previews Shippy and Open Evaluation Methods
allen_ai · x · 2026-07-14
Allen AI announced that Shippy is currently in a private preview phase for select partners. The team also published an engineering blog detailing how it was built, future plans, and how they ensure users can trust and trace its outputs.
A replied supplement explains that Shippy uses custom evaluations to test the accuracy and safety of every version: experts write weighted scenarios covering data accuracy, boundary handling, and source attribution. Each test connects to live data in real sessions and is scored by an LLM judge. Versions that show regression are not deployed.
