Android Remote Control MCP Update

Android Remote Control MCP has released v1.9.0. The new version allows AI agents to interact with real apps on mobile devices. It is no longer limited to Claude and has been successfully tested on ChatGPT.
Key updates include:
- Support for OAuth 2.1 authentication
- Connection via ChatGPT custom connector
- More stable Ngrok / Cloudflare integration for easier public address exposure
- Fixed browser and WebView automation issues, preventing screen reads from "freezing" after a refresh
The author also detailed a key engineering challenge: web accessibility nodes can bloat the context massively. While some pages could be compressed from roughly 100,000 tokens down to 40,000 before opening, the old screen-reading results would expire. This update specifically addresses that issue.
Use cases include price comparisons, route checking, and empowering agents to drive apps lacking clean APIs, such as Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
