Enterprise Simulation Benchmark Challenges Continual Learning Assumption
Scobleizer · x · 2026-07-14
Skyfall AI released a continuous enterprise simulation environment called Morpheus to test whether models can continually learn in scenarios where 'real business keeps changing'.
Their conclusion: Frontier LLMs are not continual learners. On harder tasks, reward dropped by 95% after environmental changes; GPT-5.5 repeatedly experienced score dropping to zero with no recovery. In contrast, the weakest RL baseline closed 99.96% of the same gap.
The author emphasizes that the current industry assumption that 'models get stronger with experience' does not apply to such continuously evolving enterprise environments.
