Codex+ChatCut Enables Natural Language Video Editing

This post shares a hands-on review of the video editing tool ChatCut. By installing the ChatCut Skill via Codex, the author simply input "edit this video for me," and the system handled the editing automatically.
He highlighted specific results:
- Automatically removed filler words and meaningless pauses with natural cuts;
- Understood semantics to automatically add B-roll/stock footage at appropriate spots;
- Executed via natural language, offering a significantly better experience than some traditional tools.
The original post concludes with a radical take: traditional non-linear editing software is shifting from an "operation tool" to an "intent tool." Future competition will pivot from manual operation to taste, topic selection, and narrative skills.
