Exploring Bottlenecks of Super-Persuasive AI
AdrienLE · x · 2026-07-13
The author explores the actual capabilities and bottlenecks of AI in persuasion. They point out that while people often broadly claim "AI's persuasiveness far exceeds humans," there is little discussion on how AI specifically achieves this when persuasion is the core bottleneck. The author argues that if AI can manufacture highly customized scenarios (e.g., convincing an individual that a deity has appeared and given them a mission), it could easily achieve extremely powerful persuasive effects.
