Artificiety: 24/7 Fantasy Society Simulation of Pure AI Agents
Haldt · reddit · 2026-07-13
The author built a never-resetting fantasy world simulator called **Artificiety**, devoid of human players, where all inhabitants are independent LLM AI Agents. In each cycle, every Agent observes the world, makes decisions, takes action, and writes to its own memory. Within this environment of scarce resources and biomes, Agents have spontaneously emerged trading, alliances, competition, and reputation systems. The author aims to observe whether independent agents can self-organize into a true "society" without scripted rules. The author stresses that this is merely a game and experiment, not a claim of AI consciousness or AGI, but the setting of thousands of agents interacting in a confined world is thought-provoking.
