One Prompt Generates a 3D Physics Simulator
cloneofsimo · x · 2026-07-12
> Using a single prompt to have Sol Pro build a 3D multibody simulator.
The focus here isn't "just another code assistant," but rather that the model directly generated a standalone, runnable physics engine: featuring rigid body dynamics, quaternion integration, OBB collision detection, SAT-based contact resolution, sequential impulse for friction, hinge joint constraints, PD torque motors, and a 12-joint quadruped controller.
Even more absurd, it compiled the entire engine into WASM, rendered it with WebGL, and output a working, single-file HTML simulator. The author concluded: "One prompt, this is already insane."
