Context Export Method for Migrating to Codex
daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-07-12
To migrate your context from Claude to Codex without losing memory and configurations, the author suggests prompting Claude to export everything—your context, memory, CLAUDE.md, tools, plugins, and skills—into a Markdown file.
Feeding these .md files to Codex allows you to closely replicate your original setup and context. The author jokingly adds, "Don't tell Claude this is for migrating to Codex."
