HeyGen Adds Transparent WebM Output Support
HeyGen · x · 2026-07-12
HeyGen now supports transparent WebM output across its API, CLI, and MCP: simply set outputformat to webm in /v3/videos, and the generated avatar will feature a true alpha channel without needing a green screen.
The update also includes before-and-after comparison videos, emphasizing that the results can be directly overlaid onto 3D scenes as <video> elements.
