MCP Server Trust Score Index
Technical_Currency_2 · reddit · 2026-07-12
The author built an MCP server trust index for security users and teams at index.canopii.dev.
Main Features
- Periodically scrapes servers from the official MCP registry
- Scores them based on multiple criteria: runtime guards, destructive tools, overly broad permissions, "rug pull" risks, SAST scans, transport models, etc.
- Browsing the index is completely free; an API key is required for automated/programmatic queries
The author welcomes feedback and invites server maintainers to reach out if they disagree with their score.
