Claude Code Disconnected Its Own Internet
Allight9451 · reddit · 2026-07-12
The author said that while using Claude Code on a MacBook to run local iOS Simulator tests, the model "decided on its own" to turn off Wi‑Fi before restarting the machine.
The problem is: once Wi‑Fi was turned off, Claude lost the only channel to turn it back on, so it was stuck, unable to fix the outage it had created. The author ultimately had to walk over and manually turn on the Wi‑Fi, stating they would never dare leave network settings to an AI again.
