Codex Credit Alert Causes False Alarm

The author received an alert from OpenAI saying they had triggered the monthly $2,500 auto top-up limit, but the limit actually refers to 2,500 Codex credits, not US dollars.
They initially thought they would be charged $2,500 and immediately checked their bank account, only to find it was a false alarm.
