Zhipu CEO on Digital Employees and LLM OS

In a recent memo, the CEO of Zhipu announced the company's strategic shift from "smart assistants" to "digital employees."
The post outlines several core predictions: Within the next five years, we could see 100 million AGI instances. These entities would share the same underlying intelligence, replicate experiences at near-zero cost, and collaborate like a swarm intelligence, eventually approaching ASI. The author also suggests that smart assistants will evolve into digital employees, forming a "society" of thousands of specialized agents capable of discussion, collaboration, code review, and autonomous resource allocation.
