Debate Over Inability to Set Sub-Agent Effort Independently

Someone pointed out a quote: when setting gpt-5.6-sol to ultra, all the sub-agents it generates also default to ultra.
The author argues this causes unnecessary token waste and suggests there should at least be an option to lock the sub-agents' effort level to medium. They add that they feel Claude Code handles this better.
