AI Job Loss Theory Accused of Lump of Labor Fallacy

Dr. Mike Israetel believes that AI won't make everyone unemployed just because "robots are coming," primarily because this is a classic "lump of labor fallacy."
The argument is: if the future world has billions of robots participating in labor, it simply represents a continued expansion of the human labor force. Historically, from 1700 to today, the available human labor force has grown many times over, but the economy has not "stopped needing people" as a result.
