Apple Sues OpenAI for Stealing Trade Secrets

Apple has sued OpenAI, accusing the company of stealing trade secrets for its AI hardware project and alleging a coordinated effort to obtain undisclosed product information.
The lawsuit names OpenAI's hardware chief Tang Tan (a former Apple VP of Product Design) and former Apple engineer Chang Liu. Apple claims that Liu downloaded dozens of confidential hardware files and accuses OpenAI of encouraging departing employees to take sensitive information with them.
