AI Plays Catan: RL Model to Compete Against Humans

During a recent hackathon, the world's top-ranked Catan player leveraged the HUD platform and Fireworks AI compute to successfully train a Catan-playing AI model using reinforcement learning (RL).
To further test the model's limits, the dev team is hosting a 32-player knockout tournament. Slated for July 16 at HUD HQ, the offline event will pit human players directly against the trained AI.
