Cursor Reportedly Silently Deletes Files on Restart

A developer reported encountering a severe bug in Cursor: after normally exiting and restarting the app, some files directly created by Claude were silently deleted.
Because these files were not open in the editor's tabs, Cursor currently lacks an effective recovery mechanism, resulting in permanent code loss.
