Krea2 Turbo Int4 vs Int8 Comparison
ZerOne82 · reddit · 2026-07-11
This post compares Krea2 Turbo Int4 and Int8 versions, running generation tests on the same base KSampler workflow, with generation parameters directly annotated on each image.
Key findings include:
- Int4 disk size is about half of Int8
- On a 12GB GPU, Int4 fits entirely in VRAM, while Int8 spills into shared memory
- Int4 is about 1.35x faster
- Int4 often produces more creative results when changing resolution
- For both models, Euler-ancestral + simple remains a stable choice
The author also provides links to model sources and notes that each image includes prompt, dimensions, seed, steps, sampler, scheduler, and runtime for reproducibility and comparison.
