OpenAI's New Voice Model Translates in Real Time

While testing OpenAI's new voice model with a colleague, the author discovered it can translate between Hindi and Finnish in real time. Surprisingly, the model could also identify slang used by both speakers, generating translations that sounded natural and conversational rather than rigid and literal.
