Making Startup Marketplaces Readable for AI Agents
marclou · x · 2026-07-10
The author retrofitted TrustMRR to be easily read by AI agents, allowing users to browse and discover startups directly within assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Three main features were added:
- Public .md pages
- llms.txt
- A restricted /api/ai structured endpoint
The author noted that daily requests from ChatGPT alone now nearly match those from human users. The next step is proactively paving the way for this AI traffic, making the marketplace highly accessible to conversational search and agents.
