Domain-Specific Coding Models Set to Surge

Both Cognition and Cursor have released near-frontier coding models based on open-source foundations.
The author believes the more significant signal is that within the next 6 months, many high-value domains will see the emergence of domain-specific models. These models will likely continue to evolve along the path of "open-source base model + post-training."
