Google to Label AI-Generated or Edited Ads
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-07-10
Google has announced a new feature in "My Ad Center" to explicitly inform users which ads are created or edited using AI.
After clicking an ad's menu on Google Search, Discover, or YouTube, users will see an "created or edited with AI" label. Google will automatically apply this label to ads made with its own generative AI tools, while requiring advertisers to manually label AI ads created using third-party tools.
