Google to Require AI Disclosure in Ads
TechCrunch AI · rss · 2026-07-10
Google will require disclosure of which ads are created using AI. Previously, such disclosure requirements only applied to election ads. Under the new rules, any ad containing synthetic or digitally altered content may need to be disclosed, even if it is not misleading or deceptive.
This means advertisers using AI-generated assets will likely face clearer labeling requirements.
