Tomesphere Maps 8.5M Papers Into Interactive Graph

Developers have launched the Tomesphere project, transforming nearly 8.5 million open-source research papers from platforms like arXiv and PubMed Central into an interactive 2D map.
The project consists of four main components:
- Visualization Map: Uses SPECTER2 to embed papers and UMAP for dimensionality reduction. Clicking a node reveals LLM summaries, key findings, and peer reviews.
- Paper Detail Page: Aggregates full text, images, code links, datasets, and 3D protein structures. Supports one-click copying as Markdown for LLMs.
- Browser Extension: Displays structured information directly in the sidebar of sites like arXiv and Google Scholar.
- MCP Service: Allows LLMs to query paper data via MCP (50 free quota).
