3Dream 3D Editor Adds IFC Architectural Model Import
Daniel_Farinax · x · 2026-07-10
The 3Dream 3D editor now supports importing IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) architectural model files in Beta. Users can directly export .ifc files from BIM software like Revit, Archicad, and FreeCAD into the editor.
The system automatically converts building elements such as floors, rooms, walls, doors, and windows into editable floor plans. The team notes that complex roofs or curved surfaces may require manual tweaking. Additionally, manual design features remain completely free, and importing IFC files will not consume AI credits.
