Cost-Effective Agent Orchestration with Claude

Anthropic demonstrates two practical patterns to reduce the cost of using Claude Fable 5: having a cheaper execution model ask Fable 5 for high-level advice mid-task, or letting Fable 5 handle planning while delegating bulk execution to cheaper worker agents. Official examples show that Sonnet 5 combined with a Fable 5 advisor can approach Fable 5's performance on SWE-bench Pro at a significantly lower cost.
The focus here is not on a model release, but rather on how to organize a "strong model guides, weak model executes" workflow in actual coding and agent orchestration.
