量子位 · wechat · 2026-07-10

1X Technologies showcased a new robot hand mounted on their NEO humanoid robot, featuring 25 degrees of freedom, tendon-driven actuation, force transparency, and backdrivability. The post lists various delicate tasks it can perform, such as screwing in a lightbulb, picking up screws, pouring tea, plugging in USB-C, and sign language, with a positioning accuracy of ±0.2mm.

The post also details the hand's technical specs: it uses a low-ratio quasi-direct-drive tendon scheme, and the joints feature native force control and tactile sensing to detect contact force, slipping, and configuration changes. 1X stated that the hand has entered mass production, with a target capacity of 10,000 units this year.
