Local Harnesses Could Evolve Into Model Operating Systems

The author argues that once a fully local harness, model, and runtime mature, it could become the best entry point for using frontier models. At that stage, the frontier model itself acts more like an advisory tool embedded within the harness, while the harness gradually evolves into an OS powered by frontier tokens.
