ProxyPose Uses Video Translation for 6DoF Tracking

ProxyPose proposes using video-to-video translation to achieve 6DoF tracking. The method first generates an easily trackable "proxy object," lets pre-trained video models handle the hardest parts, and then uses OpenCV to track the proxy object.
