Vellum Launches Plugin Hub

Vellum has released Plugin Hub, an open-source and free plugin directory for local-first AI assistants. Plugins consist of skills, tools, and hooks to help assistants complete tasks faster and reduce token costs, all while ensuring that user credentials for emails, banks, and code repositories are never sent to the model.
The team also provides plugin-building skills, allowing users to create new plugins and add them to the Hub. The post lists ready-to-use examples like SMB back-office automation, personal finance management, and children's school schedule management.
