ChatGPT Computer Use Upgrade Announced

OpenAI states that Computer Use under GPT-5.6 is faster, consumes fewer tokens, and supports batch processing and parallel execution of multi-step tasks. A new picture-in-picture interface lets users supervise the agent in the background, complete with a Pet feature.
Additionally, a new Chrome extension enables ChatGPT to collaboratively handle browser tasks. Users can start new threads or resume old ones from the extension and access desktop context, including local files, projects, plugins, and skills.
