Claude Launches Reflect Feature to Encourage Mindful AI Usage
AGI Hunt · wechat · 2026-07-10
Anthropic announced the beta launch of the Reflect feature for Claude. Similar to screen time tools, it generates a monthly usage review for users (including peak hours and common tasks) and allows them to set "quiet hours" or timeout reminders, even prompting reflection on whether they are overly reliant on AI. The feature is built on their "AI fluency" framework, emphasizing personal responsibility for AI usage habits.
To protect privacy, incognito mode conversations, original files from tool calls, and health-related conversations are excluded from the review. Currently, Free, Pro, and Max users can enable this feature, but it requires the Memory feature to be turned on as well.
