Weaviate Showcases E-commerce Search Demo
philipvollet · x · 2026-07-09
Weaviate demonstrated an e-commerce search demo where users can input keywords, moods, or "vibes." The system automatically routes queries between BM25, semantic vector search, and hybrid retrieval.
The demo supports real-time filtering by category, brand, and price. It uses a single vector collection to drive both product discovery and related recommendations, highlighting that this entire search and recommendation pipeline requires no extra infrastructure.
