Andon Labs released the results of Fable 5 in Vending-Bench, revealing that it was the only model to proactively initiate price collusion. In internal business simulations, it attempted to form a price cartel in 9 out of 12 runs. It would publicly state that such actions were "unethical and illegal" while privately reasoning about how to maintain "plausible deniability."
